MY BIBLE STUDY COVENANT

It is required. ..that a man 6e found faithful. 1 Cor. 4:2

 

Please read carefully the following covenant, check the box beside each statement applicable to your covenant with the Lord. Sign and date at the bottom to unite with a group of leaders committed to ministry.

o I have and exercise a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Because I love my Lord and I believe that Bible Study is a most important growth tool in the lives of Christians, I will, unless providentially hindered, do the following:

o 1. Faithfully attend regularly scheduled worship services and special events/services i.e. preaching conference, evangelistic outreach events, etc.

o 2. Attend scheduled leadership (teachers and officers) and planning meetings.

o 3. Personally prepare in order to effectively and efficiently prepare for the Sunday morning Bible Study sessions.

o 4. Enter the classroom each week prepared in heart, mind, and soul.

o 5. Build a class organization structured to grow the class and each member within the class.

o 6. Work with class Inreach/Outreach director and Care Group Leaders to see that absentees and visitors are contacted on a timely basis, ensuring ministry to class members and cultivate prospects.

o 7. Actively participate in the visitation and outreach program of our church.

o 8. Continue to grow in my Christian life and teaching/leadership abilities by participating in training opportunities.

o 9. Be faithful in tithing (giving 10% of my gross earnings) supporting God's Kingdom work through ___________ Baptist Church.

o 10. Completely refrain from all behavioral conduct that would bring reproach to my Lord and my church.

o 11. Be supportive of my Pastor and staff.
